It began when the island of Mindanao was jolted by a 6.9 magnitude earthquake in the fourth quarter of 2019. The Goodlife Damayan Insurance Agency Co., an insurance agency, and its CEO, Albert C. Arroco Jr., the founder of the Goodlife Foundation, have taken the initiative to help the victims in Tulunan, North Cotabato as the epicenter of the earthquake.

In the year 2021, another calamity struck the northern part of Mindanao, prompting the company to form a group and organization called Goodlife Cares, which collaborated with various personal and non-profit organizations such as Malaya Siargao, the University of Mindanao-Digos College, and other volunteers from other schools to plan and launch a massive relief operation for Typhoon Rai victims..

Early in 2022, the organizations participating in the previous successful relief operation came together and formed a group as one, electing the executives and its officers with the goal of establishing an non-profit organization. Albert C. Arroco Jr. as the founder, and Albert M. Hilario, Job B. Fernandez, Epthony C. Tampus, and Julius Celomin are the elected as executive members. Additionally, Clarice Ingrid Corro, as foundation's Chairperson, and Spencer Ignacio, the National Vice President/Treasurer and Abegail Baysac National Secretary make up the set of offices for 2022.

On, August 2022, the group filed the required documents to be registered with the Security and Exchange Commission(SEC) and it was granted by the commission on August 00, 2022 and registered as "GOODLIFE COMMUNITY CARES FOUNDATION INC". Sec Reg. No. - 2022070061924-15.
